Rep Kevin Yoder joins Job Creators Network at Tax Cut Rally Event

JCN presents Yoder with Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the most important pro-growth legislation in decades

Washington, DC (August 15, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Kansas today to present U.S. Rep. Kevin Yoder with its Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.

US Rep. Kevin Yoder (KS-3) accepts the Job Creators Network Defender of Small Business Award from JCN’s Phil Willard, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer.

“Thanks to our economic growth agenda of reforming taxes, reducing regulations, and investing in things like infrastructure and education, today the American worker is better off than they have been in decades,” said Yoder. “Unemployment is the lowest it’s been since 1969, we’ve added more manufacturing jobs than any point since 1995, and we have the lowest small business tax rate since 1931. We’ve seen businesses across the country like 911 Custom give bonuses and raises to their workers in addition to creating new jobs and making new hires. I look forward to building on these successes and continuing to enact policies that will grow wages even faster and keep our economy strong.”

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, thanked Yoder for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.

“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited the Kansas economy,” said Ortiz. “Rep. Yoder made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in Kansas.”

The event was part of JCN’s Tax Cuts Work campaign, featuring a nationwide bus tour to create grassroots support for the tax cuts. For more information about Job Creators Network, please visit www.jobcreatorsnetwork.com. To learn more about the bus tour, visit www.TaxCutsWork.com.
