Rep Claudia Tenney joins Job Creators Network at Tax Cut Rally Event

Washington, DC (August 15, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Sherburne today to present U.S. Rep. Claudia Tenney with its Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.

“Tax reform is the key to unleashing the American Dream for all. The typical family of four in the 22nd District is saving more than $2,400 per year. For most New Yorkers, that’s an extra mortgage, a down-payment for a new car or money for their children’s education. It certainly isn’t crumbs,” said Rep. Tenney. “On top of that, Upstate New York depends on small businesses and because of tax reform, these businesses can invest, grow, hire more staff and purchase new equipment.”

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, thanked Tenney for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.

“This is the most important tax reform in three decades and it has ignited New York’s economy,” said Ortiz. “Rep. Tenney made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in her district.”
