Real Median Household Income Plummets Again in 2022 Due to Bidenomics
Alfredo Ortiz released the following statement and chart in response to Census Bureau data released today showing real median household income declined to $74,580 in 2022 from $76,330 in 2021:
“The facts don’t lie: Bidenomics is making ordinary Americans poorer. The meaningful decline in median incomes and living standards under the Biden administration contrasts starkly with the booming median incomes under President Trump between 2017 and 2019. To return to this era of shared economic prosperity, Congress and the Biden administration must pass pro-growth policies as laid out in Job Creators Network’s American Small Business Prosperity Plan, an eight-point commonsense policy playbook.”
