Job Creators Network Supports Perdue-Loeffler Senate Resolution to Improve Health Care
Washington, DC (November 19, 2020) — Wednesday, Senators David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) introduced a Senate resolution expressing the continued need for common sense solutions to improve health care delivery, affordability, and choice for all Americans. In October 2019, the Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF) and Physicians for Reform (PFR) unveiled “Healthcare for You,” a seven-part framework for healthcare reform that will lower costs, increase choices, and provide better care.
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:
“The American health care system needs common-sense reform. Obamacare is a disaster for all Americans, especially our small business community. Obamacare drastically limited choice and substantially increased premiums. At JCN, we applaud Senators Perdue and Loeffler for introducing a resolution to protect those with preexisting conditions, help lower the cost of prescription drugs, and most importantly, lower premiums by encouraging competition and choice in the marketplace.
“Better care and prices will never be achieved with the socialist, one-size-fits-all, brand of healthcare reform that Joe Biden and the Democrats are pushing. The JCN Foundation’s ‘Healthcare for You’ framework gives patients power over their healthcare choices, not bureaucrats. We’re thrilled to see Senators Perdue and Loeffler’s resolution share the same free-market values, and we support their ongoing efforts.”
