Job Creators Network Slams Biden Administration’s Final Emissions Rule

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on the Biden Administration’s emissions rule released today:

“The EPA’s final emissions rule is the latest major example of executive overreach by the Biden Administration. Requiring that two-thirds of new cars sold in 2032 be electric vehicles is an anti-democratic power-grab that’s nothing more than a desperate attempt to appease the green lobby. Only 9% of new cars sold today are electric, and the auto industry is having difficulty even maintaining those numbers as consumers have made it clear they don’t like them. As Donald Trump correctly noted, Biden’s EV push would cause a bloodbath for the American auto industry. What’s more, the latest research shows that EVs may not even be better for the environment. The courts should quickly strike down this illegal action and protect American consumers and autoworkers.”
