Job Creators Network Reacts to Biden Advisor’s Call for Lockdown

Washington, DC (November 12, 2020) — Dr. Michael Osterholm, a coronavirus advisor to Joe Biden, said a nationwide four-to-six-week lockdown would help bring the virus under control. During his final debate with President Trump, Biden said, “I’m going to shut down the virus, not the country.”

“The Biden team is telling America’s small businesses: ‘Drop dead!” And what’s incredible is that most politicians will wait a while before breaking a key campaign pledge. In Biden’s case, he wants to break it nine days after the election. Biden repeatedly told voters he would not shut down the country. Now he’s seriously considering a four-to-six-week lockdown that would wreck the Trump Recovery. Biden already lyin!

“In the last six months, America has gained about 11.9 million jobs (reversing more than half the job losses caused by the pandemic).  GDP growth in the third quarter was 33 percent – an all-time record.  Small businesses are reopening, still battered by the first wave of lockdowns but looking to the future with optimism.  Now, that optimism is evaporating into thin air.  We need to be clear: A new national lockdown will cause a recession and force many – perhaps most – small businesses to permanently close.  Throughout the campaign, JCN warned about the dangers of a Biden presidency.
