Job Creators Network on CPI Report: Joe Biden’s Inflation Problem Is Here to Stay

Washington, DC (May 11, 2022) – The consumer price index increased 8.3% annually in April.

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement: 

“While CPI dipped slightly from 8.5% to 8.3%, it’s still at its highest level in four decades and the Biden Administration is running out of excuses.  We need a real plan to cut inflation, not meaningless rhetoric and hypocrisy.  The Administration and Congress need to cut spending and increase domestic energy production to lower prices.  They also need to make the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent.  Biden and the Democrats got us into this mess but they can help get us out if they start listening to the small business community and enact pro-growth policies.”
