Job Creators Network Launching Nationwide Great Opportunity Project Bus Tour

Covering Several Key States Throughout October to Promote Pro-Growth Economic Agenda
Press ReleaseOctober 11, 2022

Washington, DC (October 11, 2022) – On Wednesday, October 12, the Job Creators Network (JCN) is launching its national Great Opportunity Project Bus Tour to promote pro-growth policies that the next Congress can and should pass into law to revitalize our small business sector and our entire economy. The bus tour is a major component of JCN’s seven-figure Great Opportunity Project campaign, which  includes JCN’s eight-point “American Small Business Prosperity Plan.” The plan has been endorsed by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, and many other influencers (read the plan here). JCN’s bus tour will cover at least five states over three weeks: Pennsylvania, Florida, Georgia, Arizona, and Michigan.  The first event is in Erie, Pennsylvania.  Most events will feature the local Member of Congress and a local small business leader. JCN will present a “Defender of Small Business” award to the local Member of Congress at those events. At the Erie event, that will be Rep. Mike Kelly.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

“The purpose of our Great Opportunity Project bus tour is simple, yet critical: We want to raise awareness about the economic challenges our small business community is facing, while rallying support for the pro-growth policies that can revitalize our local communities and our entire country.  Last month, JCN unveiled our ‘American Small Business Prosperity Plan,’ an eight-point roadmap for the next Congress to address the unique needs of the small business community.  Now we are taking that agenda on the road.  Our plan has been endorsed by House Republican Leader McCarthy and it dovetails nicely with his ‘Commitment to America.’ Our proposals are not Republican ideas nor Democrat ideas; they are American ideas.  They include making the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent, unleashing domestic energy production, exempting small businesses from new regulations, expanding access to capital for small businesses, and more.  Our bus tour will amplify the importance of these policies in five key states that are playing an outsized role in determining America’s future.”

JCN is the country’s only conservative small business organization advocating for lower taxes, less regulation, and pro-growth policies that promote investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship across America.
