Job Creators Network Calls on Biden to Come to Debt Ceiling Compromise

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to today’s debt ceiling meeting between President Biden and Speaker McCarthy:

“President Biden waited almost 100 days to sit down with Speaker McCarthy to negotiate over the debt ceiling yet tries to claim that he is ‘blameless’ if a deal isn’t made. Now Biden is trying to scuttle a compromise by demanding tax hikes in the latest negotiations. Biden talks about “finishing the job,” but it’s time he started the job on coming to a debt ceiling deal by agreeing to cut spending to help ordinary Americans and small businesses deal with historic inflation and a lack of access to credit.”
