“President Trump delivered an outstanding speech tonight, highlighting his historic economic achievements while a drawing a sharp contrast between himself and Joe Biden.  For the past four years, the President has been working relentlessly to unleash the power of free enterprise – cutting taxes and regulations, negotiating smart trade agreements, and reforming healthcare – and the results are clear for all to see: the best economy in history, up until the pandemic.  The pandemic was a black swan event, and we are beginning a ‘V-shaped’ recovery, thanks to the President’s leadership. Biden, on the other, is running the most left-wing campaign in history – promising a record $4 trillion tax increase, a Green New Deal that would socialize major parts of our economy, a $15 minimum wage that would kill millions of jobs, and a government takeover of our healthcare system that would destroy the doctor-patient relationship. The President is wisely turning this campaign into a referendum between American values, led by capitalism, or socialist ruin.
