Job Creators Network Reacts to Weekly Unemployment Claims Report

Washington, DC (August 27, 2020) — New data released by the Department of Labor reveals the number of first-time unemployment claims was 1.006 million last week.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN)released the following statement:

“As JCN member Maximo Alvarez told the Republican Convention this week, President Trump is delivering on his promises to the American people. The policies that created the greatest economy in a half-century still exist. The headwinds against this economy are governors and mayors who continue with draconian orders to keep businesses from opening up.  We need those politicians to start listening to the health experts who say Americans can safely reengage with society. The JCN Foundation’s “Flatten the Fear” campaign puts a microphone in front of those health experts, and we will continue promoting this campaign to strengthen our economy and put millions back to work. We will also continue fighting Joe Biden’s socialist agenda.  A Biden presidency – and his ‘tax, spend, and take’ agenda – would be a disaster for our small business community and America.”
