Job Creators Network Applauds Passage of Senate Tax Cuts Bill

Lawmakers must use this momentum to ensure small business job creators have tax cuts in their stockings come Christmas morning.

Washington, D.C.—Today, the Job Creators Network (JCN) praises the passage of the Senate’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act—legislation that will reduce the tax burden on our country’s small business job creators. The bill will allow a vast majority of small business entrepreneurs to hire more people, raise wages, and expand their businesses. JCN would like to specifically highlight Sen. Ron Johnson (WI) and Steve Daines (MT) for their tireless efforts on behalf of small businesses during this process.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

The passage of the Senate tax cuts bill marks yet another major milestone in our march towards historic tax relief that will allow our country’s small business entrepreneurs to hire more people, raise wages, and spark accelerated economic growth. And it’s because of countless small business owners speaking up and people who support them sharing their voice —such as Senators Ron Johnson and Steve Daines—that we’ve made it this far. However, the fight is not over. We have already motivated both chambers of Congress to support bills that apply significant benefits to small businesses, but now it’s time to get a bill to the President’s desk. We must use this momentum to keep the pressure on so that small business job creators have tax cuts in their stockings come Christmas morning.
