Job Creators Network Applauds Administration Rules to Protect Patient Health Data

Washington, D.C. (March 9, 2020)— Today, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services finalized two transformative rules that will give patients unprecedented safe, secure access to their health data.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“The Trump Administration’s announcement today demonstrates that their priorities are exactly where they should be, on improving the doctor-patient relationship and streamlining the healthcare of Americans. This ONC rule modernizes an antiquated record-keeping system and puts control of healthcare records in the hands of the patients where they belong.

Job Creators Network recently conducted extensive market research involving the inputs of 25,000 Americans to determine what they need most out of their healthcare and being able to manage their records and control how they are disseminated will go a long way in meeting our goal of reducing bureaucratic interference in the healthcare system and personalizing the care that patients need. JCN’s Healthcare for You initiative was born from that research and is a bottom-up approach to healthcare reform that, along with common sense regulation reforms like today’s rule, will empower the free market.”
