CELEBRATE MINORITY ENTREPRENEURSHIP DURING BLACK HISTORY MONTH, SAYS JOB CREATORS NETWORK CEO

Alfredo Ortiz: “During this Black History Month, let’s empower the next generation of minority entrepreneurs”

Today, Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, and author of “The Real Race Revolutionaries: How Minority Entrepreneurship Can Overcome America’s Racial and Economic Divides,” released the following statement ahead of the start of Black History Month this week:

“There is a good reason why our society is still grappling with racial and economic divides, despite our past attempts to eradicate them. As I outline in my book, the free market system – not government bureaucracy – is the best solution to closing wealth disparities among racial groups. In the words of Booker T. Washington, African-American entrepreneurship is vital to uplifting the Black community. During this Black History Month, let’s empower the next generation of minority entrepreneurs by slashing burdensome regulations that are stifling Main Street.”

As you prepare to cover Black History Month, please consider interviewing Alfredo Ortiz about the importance of small government and the need to empower minority entrepreneurs.
