Job Creators Network Reacts to Democratic State Attorneys General Suing the Labor Department

In reaction to a group of Democratic state attorneys general suing the Labor Department yesterday in an attempt to stymie their new joint employer rule, the Job Creators Network  President and CEO Alfredo Ortizissued this statement:

“The Trump Administration’s revised joint-employer rule was greeted with enthusiasm and relief from America’s small business franchisees. The new rules protect the wildly successful franchise model and make it harder for labor unions and others to use the National Labor Relations Board to harass franchisors. We’re disappointed to see Democratic state attorneys general trying to score points with their labor union backers with this frivolous litigation that would hurt small businesses.”
