JOB CREATORS NETWORK’S AMERICAN SMALL BUSINESS PROSPERITY PLAN CONTINUES GAINING SUPPORT

Washington, DC (October 25, 2022) — Various ranking members of congressional committees and the co-chair of the House Small Business Caucus have endorsed the Job Creators Network’s American Small Business Prosperity Plan, a pro-growth economic agenda that members of Congress and congressional candidates can sign with the goal of enacting in the next Congress.

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“We’re excited to continue seeing additional support for our ‘American Small Business Prosperity Plan.’ Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, who released the ‘Commitment to America’ plan, was among the first to support our plan which dovetails nicely with his own. The support we’ve received is proof that the solutions offered by these plans are what we need to fix the problems facing our country and give small businesses the support they need to lead our recovery.”

Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX), Ranking Member of the House Ways and Means Committee:

“Small businesses shouldn’t have to worry about paying higher tax bills to Washington while struggling under President Biden’s worker shortage and supply chain crisis. Consistent with the House Republican Commitment to America, the American Small Business Prosperity Plan calls for permanent tax relief for job creators. We must turn the page on Democrats’ failed economic agenda and rebuild Main Street America.”

Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO), Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee:

“Job Creators Network gives a voice to the small businesses across the country who are paying the price for the disastrous policies coming out of Washington. Like Republicans’ Commitment to America the Small Business Prosperity Plan is a roadmap to economic success by getting government out of the way and allowing our small businesses to create jobs and invigorate our economy. I am grateful for the Job Creators Network’s advocacy and look forward to working together on behalf of America’s small businesses.”

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI), Ranking Member on the House on the Select Committee on Economic Disparity and Fairness in Growth:

“American small businesses and their workers are struggling under one party rule in Washington. In the last two years, misguided policies have kept workers on the sidelines. Now, rising costs and low labor force participation are forcing too many businesses to close. The Job Creator Network‘s American Small Business Prosperity Plan lays out a blueprint for getting our economy back on track. I am proud to support it.”

Rep. Adrian Smith (R-NE), Ranking Member on the Trade Subcommittee:

“American families and small businesses are struggling under the weight of inflation, supply chain issues, and Washington regulations run amok. The ‘American Small Business Prosperity Plan’ from Job Creators Network recognizes the need for policies to get Americans off the sidelines, reward small businesses for investing in themselves and their employees, and allow hardworking families to keep more of what they earn. We desperately need policies like this to rebuild our economy in the wake of COVID-19 lockdowns and the Biden administration’s economic failures.”

Rep. Kevin Hern (R-OK), co-chair of the House Small Business Caucus:

“The Job Creators Network small business prosperity 8-point plan is a pro-growth agenda that will benefit not only small businesses but also the American worker. Close to half of the United States economy is small business. Small businesses should be a priority for any economic agenda. I look forward to working with the job creators’ network to make this agenda a reality.”
