Job Creators Network Supports Oakland Small Business Strike to Protest Rampant Crime

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to tomorrow’s scheduled strike by small businesses in Oakland, CA, to protest rampant crime:

“Brick-and-mortar small business owners are one of the biggest victims of rampant crime that has besieged Democrat-run cities nationwide. Skyrocketing shoplifting, car thefts, and homelessness deter customers and reduce profit margins. Small businesses pay billions of dollars in state and local taxes yet are too often ignored by liberal mayors and Soros-funded district attorneys who turn a blind eye to crime. Oakland is ground zero.

Hopefully, tomorrow’s small business strike can encourage local officials to throw the book at the relatively small number of thugs responsible for the vast majority of crime. We encourage solidarity from other small business owners nationwide who have been victimized by crime and DAs more concerned with being woke than their local small businesses going broke.”
