Job Creators Network Supports Legislation To Put An End To Expensive New Energy-Efficiency Mandates

Job Creators Network CEO issued the following statement in support of H.R. 6192, the “Hands Off Our Home Appliances Act”:

“Job Creators Network urges Congress to pass the “Hands Off Our Home Appliances Act,” which would ensure new energy-efficiency standards are cost-effective to consumers and prevent the federal government from banning any household appliance based on what kind of fuel it uses. While Main Street and all Americans continue to suffer under Bidenflation, the Department of Energy has been imposing costly new mandates on the production of important household products, like stoves, dishwashers, water heaters, and furnaces. These mandates not only make these products much more expensive, but in many cases, they are less effective. JCN urges Congress to pass this common-sense legislation that would put important safeguards in place to ensure that energy efficiency standards are technologically feasible and economically justified.”
