Job Creators Network Reacts to Stephen Moore’s Withdrawal from Federal Reserve Nomination

Washington, D.C. (May 2, 2019)—President Trump announced today that Stephen Moore has decided to withdraw his nomination to the Federal Reserve Board.

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

Steve Moore would have been an outstanding addition to the Federal Reserve, given his extensive experience and impressive track record on many key issues, including tax cuts and Fed policy.  It’s disappointing Steve won’t be on the Fed Board, but as President Trump points out, Steve will continue making critical contributions to economic policy.  We can all look forward to that.
