Job Creators Network Reacts to Biden Speech on Economy

Washington, DC (March 4, 2022)— Today, President Biden delivered a speech on the economy.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“It’s not good enough for President Biden to say inflation is a problem.  He needs to do something about it.  And the power to get inflation under control lies with him. Increasing domestic energy production would be a great place to start for suffering everyday Americans. The average price of a gallon gas is $3.84. It was about $2 per gallon less when President Trump left office. This is stretching millions of people on fixed incomes very badly. Their situation is even worse if they live in states where prices are normally higher such as California. Biden is terrified of AOC and her left-wing base.  The biggest beneficiary?  Vladimir Putin, who’s ramped up Russia’s energy production to fund his army. Our message to Joe: ‘Drill baby drill!’”

This week, JCN erected a billboard in the heart of Times Square featuring an image of Vladimir Putin. The billboard’s headline reads, “HEY VLAD. SCREW YOU! NYET TO RUSSIAN OIL. TIME FOR AMERICAN OIL.”  And it concludes, “Drill More, Pay Less. C’Mon Joe. This ain’t hard.”  To see the billboard, click here.

This week, FoxBusiness.com ran Mr. Ortiz’s op-edBiden can’t sidestep accountability at home by focusing on Russia, Ukraine in State of the Union address. To read it, click here.
