Job Creators Network Praises Ranking Member Brady’s Call for New Tax Cuts

Washington, DC (November 8, 2019) – In a new op-ed published by USA Today, Ways and Means Committee Ranking Member Kevin Brady (R-TX) called for new tax cuts to lock in the economic gains from the historic tax cuts of 2017.

Job Creators Network President Alfredo Ortiz released the following statement:

“The Job Creators Network wholeheartedly supports Rep. Brady’s call for another round of tax cuts to further boost paychecks, economic growth, and opportunity. The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act was just the first step to establish a more favorable tax environment for small business owners to compete and give all Americans the tax breaks they deserve by taking their hard earned money out of the hands of politicians and putting it back into the hands of the real job creators. The TCJA is already doing a world of good. Our small business members inform us that the small business tax deduction, which passed as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, has allowed them to raise wages, create new jobs, and expand. JCN supports Rep. Brady’s call to make this tax cut permanent for all small businesses, so they can plan ahead without worrying about potential tax changes. As Rep. Brady points out, Washington doesn’t have a revenue problem, it has a spending problem. It’s time to pursue Tax Cuts 2.0.”
