Job Creators Network Launching Nationwide Bring Small Businesses Back Bus Tour
Washington, DC (September 3, 2021) – On Wednesday, September 8, the Job Creators Network (JCN) is re-launching its national Bring Small Businesses Back (BSBB) Bus Tour as part of its seven-figure BSBB campaign. The bus tour is a direct response to the anti-small business proposals and policies of the current administration. Covering at least eight states over four weeks, it consists of events with select Members of Congress and local small business leaders. They’ll be kicking off in Dallas, Texas the first week and then heading to Jefferson City, Missouri. At each event, JCN will present a “Defender of Small Business” award to the local Member of Congress. In the first week, that will be Rep. Beth Van Duyne and Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer, Ranking Member of the House Small Business Committee, respectively. In future weeks, they will be in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida (three stops), and Georgia. Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:
“America’s small business community is under assault. The pandemic has taken a dramatic toll, and the proposed policies of the Biden Administration are squarely aimed at small business. Now more than ever, we need America’s 90-million-strong small business community to lead our recovery. The Biden agenda, however, is crushing them. Overly-generous unemployment benefits are creating a worker shortage. Reckless spending is creating record inflation. Biden is continuing to push terrible policies – including a record tax increase – that Congress will consider soon. That is why JCN is going on the road – re-launching our Bring Small Businesses Back Bus Tour. We will be covering at least eight states over four weeks – putting a microphone in front of small business owners, small business employees, and the elected officials who are supporting our community. This is the perfect time to get our message out there. We will not be silent while Washington considers policies that could wreck small businesses. We will lay out a positive vision for small business growth and opportunity that all Americans can rally around.”
JCN is the country’s only conservative small business organization advocating for lower taxes, less regulation, and pro-growth policies that promote investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship across America.
JCN is hitting the road to accomplish a number of goals:
- Highlight the needs of small businesses as they struggle to recover from the pandemic.
- Expose the current war on small business as the Left pursues policies like higher taxes, higher minimum wages, and massive government spending that is already causing consumer prices and the costs associated with operating a small business to skyrocket.
- Promote the business leaders, legislators, and other advocates that are defending small businesses.
