Job Creators Network Commends Georgia Assembly Passage of Small Business Tax Cut
Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to Georgia’s General Assembly passing small business tax cut legislation:
“Congratulations to Sen. John Albers for sponsoring small business tax cut legislation that passed Georgia’s Senate with unanimous consent. The legislation lowers personal property tax on small businesses, giving them cost relief that’s much needed in today’s inflationary and high-interest rate environment. With these extra funds, small businesses will be able to expand, hire, and raise wages, powering Georgia’s economy. Tax relief is part of Job Creators Network’s American Small Business Prosperity Plan, an eight-point policy playbook to turbocharge the small business economy. With this legislation, Georgia is well on its way to implementing its own Georgia Small Business Prosperity Plan.”
