Job Creators Network Celebrates Gov. Kemp’s Signing Georgia Promise Scholarships Into Law
Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signing education freedom legislation into law:
“Signing Georgia Promise Scholarships into law is a historic moment for Georgia students who have been trapped in failing schools for far too long. This education freedom legislation is a great start to giving mostly minority students in the state the education lifeline they need to escape poverty and live the American Dream.
“Job Creators Network is proud to have played a critical role in getting this education freedom legislation over the finish line. Our targeted radio ad campaign, op-eds, letters, and media appearances created the pressure needed for the Georgia House to pass the legislation by a single vote. As part of the Education Freedom Alliance, JCN looks forward to achieving our goal of 26 states passing education freedom legislation by 2026.”
