Job Creators Network asks Lamb Whether He Agrees with Party Leaders on Repealing Tax Cuts

Small business group says voters deserve to know where Lamb stands on campaign promise to repeal tax cut law that has already led to bonuses, raises and bigger paychecks

Washington, DC (February 15, 2018) – Congressional candidate Conor Lamb has been critical of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, a central issue in the mid-term election this year, but he hasn’t made clear whether he would vote to repeal the law, said Job Creators Network today.

“It’s fair for business owners and employees in his district to ask whether he would vote to repeal the law,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN CEO.

Democrats are apparently planning to run in the fall on a promise to repeal the landmark tax cuts signed into law late last year. Since then hundreds of companies have announced pay raises and bonuses that have benefited millions of workers. Small business owners are also reinvesting in their employees.

“This is a very important issue and the public deserves to know before the election where the candidates stand,” said Ortiz.
