Job Creators Network Applauds Trump Administration and Congress for Expansion of Paycheck Protection Program

Washington, D.C. (April 7, 2020)— Today, the Job Creators Network (JCN) applauded the Trump administration and Congress for their plans to expand the overwhelmingly popular Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) to help even more small businesses and save even more jobs.

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of JCN, released the following statement:

“The Job Creators Network applauds the efforts of President Trump, Treasury Secretary Mnuchin, and Senate Majority Leader McConnell to expand the Paycheck Production Program so it can benefit even more Main Street businesses and save even more jobs during this crisis. Thanks to the efforts of Sens. Rubio and Collins, who fought for small businesses by drafting and creating this provision in the CARES Act, the PPP has already distributed billions of dollars to small business job creators with tens of billions more dollars in the pipeline. By expanding the funding for this vital program, even small businesses can stay operational through this crisis and be in a position to grow and prosper when the pandemic passes. The House should pass this expansion quickly and not load it up with far-left measures that could slow down this much needed relief.”
