Governor Bevin joins Job Creators Network at Tax Cut Rally Event

Bevin and local business leaders send a message to DC: Tax Cuts Work

Washington, DC (September 20, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Lexington today to meet with Governor Matt Bevin and local business leaders at a rally supporting the federal tax cuts.

“Families and small businesses in our state are saving thousands of dollars a year because of recent tax cuts,” said Gov. Bevin. “That money is making its way right back into Kentucky’s economy, and we are seeing the benefits all across the state. Make no mistake; tax cuts are on the ballot this November, and it’s important to choose candidates that support responsible fiscal policies. Which candidates trust you to keep more of the money you earn?”

Ortiz thanked Bevin for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition in Washington.

“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited Kentucky’s economy,” said Ortiz. “Repealing them would undo all of the great work that Governor Bevin and the Legislature have done to make Kentucky’s economy stronger. We want to thank Governor Bevin for his leadership on small business issues in Kentucky, and for lending his voice to our goal of protecting the federal tax cuts for small businesses.”

The event was part of JCN’s Tax Cuts Work campaign, featuring a nationwide bus tour to create grassroots support for the tax cuts. For more information about Job Creators Network, please visitwww.jobcreatorsnetwork.com. To learn more about the bus tour, visit www.TaxCutsWork.com.
