Mary Thomas, Chief Strategic Growth Officer of the Job Creators Network

Mary Thomas is the Chief Strategic Growth Officer of the Job Creators Network, where she drives the growth of the organization, expanding its reach and enhancing its steadfast defense of small businesses against the increasingly hostile public policy and regulatory regimes they face today. Mary introduces JCN to new small business owners and connects with new stakeholders to strengthen JCN’s coalition focused on promoting the free market capitalist system that has made America the most prosperous nation in the history of the world.

For her entire two decade career, Mary has served as a leading voice and outspoken advocate of free market principles. As an attorney, Mary has defended citizens against the encroachment of unconstitutional government power. Mary seeks to always be on the offensive in advancing economic freedom, limited government, and traditional conservative values.

Mary has built an impressive conservative portfolio. Prior to joining JCN, Mary served as the Executive Director of Strategic Development at the America First Legal Foundation, helping to grow the organization into one of the most powerful legal resources for Americans battling against unconstitutional actions. Mary also served as the Executive Director of the Club for Growth Foundation developing new programs and the next generation of free market American leaders. Additionally, Mary served as the Political Director of CatholicVote, ensuring that fellow Catholics had a voice in the political process.

During the Trump Administration, Mary served as a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the U.S. Department of Justice. There she rose to be the highest ranking female appointee in a litigating component.

Raised and educated in Florida, Mary holds a J.D., Cum Laude, from the Florida State University Law School and an LL.M from the University of Miami School of Law. Mary was a top attorney and advisor for then-Governor Rick Scott, who now serves as U.S. Senator from the Sunshine State.

Mary’s passion for small businesses and economic freedom arises from watching her parents, who immigrated legally from India, achieve the American Dream by launching their own small business, a family medical practice in Florida. Helping her parents grow the family business, Mary has seen first-hand the power of entrepreneurship and has an intimate understanding of the incredibly powerful impact small businesses have on American communities and families.
