JCN CEO Heidi Ganahl on WJR’s Frank Beckmann show
Heidi Ganahl is the founder and CEO of Camp Bow Wow, the nation’s largest pet care franchise, and a member of Job Creators Network. Ganahl was on WJR Radio in Detroit, MI to talk about the impact of a National Labor Relations Board ruling that would force corporate “parent” company to be a “joint-employer” with individual franchise business owners. This would mean Ganahl would become liable for the thousands of daily decisions made by her franchisees, which are essentially independent small businesses. In other words, if a dog gets hurt because of the negligence of one franchisee’s employee in Louisiana, she and all the other franchisees could be held jointly responsible.
