Vance’s Atlanta Appearances to Promote Tax Cut Law Can Cut Through Democrat and Media Distortions

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on JD Vance’s appearances in Atlanta today to support Republicans’ tax cut law: 

“Vice President Vance has no shortage of material today when he promotes Republicans’ tax cut law in Atlanta. The law expands and makes permanent the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, locking in the far lower rates that small businesses and families have paid since 2018. It also includes several key tax breaks for entrepreneurs and workers who make up the backbone of the country. It restores and makes permanent 100% immediate expensing, allowing businesses to expand and hire, and it ends taxes on tips and overtime, saving workers as much as $6,000 annually. 

“In contrast to comments by Sen. Ossoff, the law doesn’t gut Medicaid but rather strengthens it for those who actually need it by implementing overwhelmingly popular work requirements for able-bodied recipients. Vance’s appearances will help correct the record that has been willfully distorted by Democrats and the mainstream media desperate to oppose Trump no matter how much he helps ordinary families and small businesses. The bottom line that voters will hear and see in their day-to-day lives in the months ahead is that tax cuts work.”
