Trump Administration Issues Rule Stopping Corporate Transparency Act

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the Trump administration’s new rule stopping the Corporate Transparency Act for American businesses:

“The Trump administration has fulfilled its promise to stop the Corporate Transparency Act, a burdensome Biden-era reporting regulation that threatened Main Street with massive fines and even jail time for noncompliance. FinCEN’s new rule ends the CTA’s requirements for American businesses, as Job Creators Network has long called for. JCN polling found that most small businesses weren’t even aware of the CTA, let alone its requirements and penalties. This rule is another example of the Trump administration’s ‘promises made, promises kept’ small business agenda.”
