There You Go Again, Joe — President Biden Issues Another Lawless Student Loan Forgiveness Workaround

Elaine Parker, president of Job Creators Network Foundation, released the following statement in response to the Biden administration’s forgiveness of another $4.8 billion of student loan debt:

“Despite the Supreme Court striking down the Biden administration’s $430 billion student loan bailout, President Biden continues his lawless student loan forgiveness workarounds. In violation of the Supreme Court and Congress, Biden issued another $4.8 billion in loan bailouts and has now illegally forgiven $132 billion of student loans. These workarounds pervert the rule of law and only exacerbate the student loan crisis by rewarding colleges for price gouging students.”

“We are glad Gov. DeSantis agrees with JCNF’s position that we need to get to the root of this problem by holding colleges accountable for their role in the student loan crisis and making them have skin in the student loan game. The status quo in which colleges have a blank check to raise tuition is unfair to students or taxpayers.”
