Rep Tom Reed Joins Job Creators Network at Tax Cut Rally Event

JCN presents Reed with Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the most important pro-growth legislation in decades

Washington, DC (August 14, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Geneva today to present U.S. Rep. Tom Reed with its Defender of Small Business

US Rep. Tom Reed (NY-23) accepts the Job Creators Network Defender of Small Business Award from JCN partner Tim Jones, President and CEO of First Rule and Job Creators Network partner.

Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.

“The typical family of four in our district is saving almost $1,600 per year,” said Reed. “For most New Yorkers, that’s an extra mortgage, or a down-payment for a new car, or a family vacation. It certainly isn’t crumbs. On top of that savings, many New Yorkers are getting pay raises and bonuses because of the tax cuts for small businesses.”

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, thanked Reed for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.

“We care about the hardworking families our tax cuts help. The average family of four in our community is saving $1,600. This is real money in their pocket for a car repair, to put into their retirement savings, or enjoy a familyvacation. At the same time, people are getting pay raises and bonuses because of the growth the tax cuts are creating.”

The event was part of JCN’s Tax Cuts Work campaign, featuring a nationwide bus tour to create grassroots support for the tax cuts. For more information about Job Creators Network, please visit www.jobcreatorsnetwork.com. To learn more about the bus tour, visit www.TaxCutsWork.com.
