Washington, DC (August 20, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Minot today to present U.S. Rep. Kevin Cramer with its Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.
“The typical family of four in our district is saving more than $2,700 per year,” said Cramer. “For most North Dakotans, that’s an extra mortgage, or a down-payment for a new car, or a family vacation. It certainly isn’t crumbs. On top of that savings, many North Dakotans are getting pay raises and bonuses because of the tax cuts for small businesses.”
Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, thanked Cramer for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.
“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited the North Dakota economy,” said Ortiz. “Rep. Cramer made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in North Dakota.”
The event was part of JCN’s Tax Cuts Work campaign, featuring a nationwide bus tour to create grassroots support for the tax cuts. For more information about Job Creators Network, please visit www.jobcreatorsnetwork.com. To learn more about the bus tour, visit www.TaxCutsWork.com.
