Washington, DC (September 17, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Eureka today to present U.S. Rep. Ann Wagner with its Defender of Small Business Award for supporting the largest tax cut in history.
“The average family in our area is saving $3,700 per year. That’s mortgage payment, or a down-payment on a car, or a new appliance,” said Wagner. “It certainly isn’t crumbs. The fact is that the tax cuts have ignited our economy, creating record jobs, record investment, and record optimism.”
Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, thanked Wagner for supporting the tax cuts despite sharp opposition.
“This is the most important tax law in three decades and it has ignited the Missouri economy,” said Ortiz. “Ann Wagner made a courageous vote, and it was definitely the right vote for taxpayers and small businesses in Missouri.”
The event was part of JCN’s Tax Cuts Work campaign, featuring a nationwide bus tour to create grassroots support for the tax cuts. For more information about Job Creators Network, please visit www.jobcreatorsnetwork.com. To learn more about the bus tour, visit www.TaxCutsWork.com.
