PCE Data Reveals Inflation Shows No Sign of Slowing Down

Washington DC – Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to today’s release by the Bureau of Economic Analysis showing that the personal consumption expenditures price Index increased by 6.2% over the last year:

“Today’s PCE data confirm what ordinary Americans already know: Inflation shows no sign of slowing down despite the Federal Reserve’s aggressive actions. The PCE is the Fed’s favorite inflation indicator and shows that Americans continue to pay more for everday items. To finally get inflation under control, the country desperately needs help from a Congress that is willing to end reckless spending and pass pro-growth reforms.
