OSHA SUSPENDS ENFORCEMENT OF MANDATORY TESTING AND VACCINATIONS, JOB CREATORS NETWORK REACTS

Washington, DC (November 17, 2021) — OSHA has suspended all implementation and enforcement efforts related to the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) on mandatory COVID-19 vaccination and testing in the workplace.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

“OSHA’s decision is just the latest evidence that a vaccine mandate is impractical, illegal, and needs to be scuttled immediately. The vaccine mandate is a job killer at a time when small businesses are still recovering from the pandemic and are suffering from a near-record labor shortage.  On the very same day OSHA unveiled its mandate, Job Creators Network filed a lawsuit in the Eighth Circuit to stop the mandate. We were the first small business advocacy group to sue the Administration and we are proud to be leading this fight. This is the most important issue facing the country right now, and we are determined to win.”
