Kemp Joins TCW Rally in Roswell

Secretary of State Brian Kemp and local business owners say the federal tax cuts have boosted hiring, investment, and growth

Washington, DC (October 20, 2018) – The Job Creators Network national Tax Cuts Work tour rolled into Roswell, Georgia today to hear from local business owners and Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp on how the federal tax cuts have boosted the economy and created jobs.

“The typical small business in Georgia is saving thousands of dollars a year, and they are reinvesting that money in new jobs, higher wages for workers, more inventory, new equipment, new vehicles, new technology, and other capital improvements that make them more competitive,” said Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO. “The result is billions of dollars in new investment in Georgia, which leads to higher growth and more jobs.”

Secretary of State Kemp, who started and ran a construction firm before entering public service, said small business is a major beneficiary of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.

“These historic tax cuts are a game-changer for small business owners and families everywhere, including Georgia,” said Kemp. “By removing roadblocks to economic growth and streamlining government, we will continue to grow at record pace and further solidify our position as the best state in the nation to do business.”
