Job Creators Network Urges Senate to Nullify Biden’s Vaccine Mandate in Resolution Vote
Washington, DC (December 8, 2021) – The Senate is expected to vote as soon as today on a resolution that would nullify President Biden’s vaccine mandate.
Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), issued the following statement in response:
“JCN urges all Senators to vote to nullify this vaccine mandate. JCN has already signed on to endorse the resolution with Sen. Braun’s office. This illegal mandate would force private employers to become government enforcers over their workers’ personal health choices, and the mandate itself has hit repeated legal halts, including JCN’s own lawsuit. Senators would be wise to consider what message their vote sends to their constituents. Will Senate Democrats stand up for the personal health choices of those they were elected to serve, against the illegal policing of private businesses? Or will their vote tell their citizens they’re a complicit pawn in the Biden Administration’s continued War on Small Business.”
JCN is not anti-vaccine, but we have been opposed to Biden’s national vaccine mandate that would make America’s employers the vaccine police. As soon as the rule was officially unveiled, JCN was the first small business advocacy group to file a lawsuit against the Biden Administration to block the mandate.
