Job Creators Network Urges Pelosi to Hold Vote on USMCA

Washington, DC (October 30, 2019) – Nearly a year after the Trump Administration signed the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), Speaker Pelosi still won’t commit to holding a House vote to ratify it.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCNreleased the following statement.

“It’s absurd that Speaker Pelosi is dragging her heels on the USMCA.  Even leaders in her own party want her to hold a vote immediately because they know the USMCA is a clear winner for America’s economy.  It doesn’t matter if you’re a Republican or a Democrat – the USMCA deserves bipartisan support because will create 176,000 new jobs and add $68 billion to our economy.  President Trump and Vice President Pence deserve tremendous credit for negotiating and pushing the USMCA.  Now it’s Speaker Pelosi’s turn to do her job and make this a true bipartisan victory.  Let’s get it done.”
