Job Creators Network Urges House Committee on Small Business to Pass Important Regulatory Reforms
In advance of the scheduled September 10 mark up by the House Committee on Small Business of a series of regulatory reform bills, Job Creators Network CEO Alfredo Ortiz issued the following statement:
“Main Street is drowning under the crushing weight of regulation. A recent JCN report demonstrates that the Biden Harris administration has only made the problem worse by imposing $1.6 trillion in costs with an unprecedented 923 new regulations. JCN urges the House Small Business Committee to pass a package of common-sense regulatory reforms, including the Prove It Act of 2024. JCN has been on the front lines pushing passage of the Prove It Act, in particular – a bill that would hold agencies accountable when they fail to properly assess the impact of a new mandate on small business. If enacted, the reforms that the Committee will consider would help ease the regulatory burden for our nation’s job creators.”
