Job Creators Network Supports Three-Month Continuing Resolution

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in support of the House of Representatives’ proposed three-month continuing resolution:

“This three-month continuing resolution is a smart compromise at the right time and once again demonstrates Speaker Johnson’s strong leadership. The funding bill includes a much-needed boost for the Secret Service to ensure political leaders are protected.

“Shutting down the government is a futile exercise that would backfire on Republicans one month before an election. This funding timeline allows the American people and the next president to have a say in the longer-term appropriations process. In the medium- to long-term, Congress must get its fiscal house in order by returning spending to pre-Covid levels, but for the time being, this three-month CR is the best outcome for the American people.”
