“The Small Business Investment Act can help boost the American small business revival that is already underway under President Trump by boosting entrepreneurs’ access to credit. The bill rewards investors for supporting the small business backbone of the American economy. Critically, the legislation expands small business investment tax breaks beyond only those structured as C corporations, significantly broadening the number of entrepreneurs who benefit. Despite the improving small business climate, entrepreneurs still have difficulty accessing credit due to high interest rates. Rep. Kustoff’s legislation will significantly reduce barriers to capital, the lifeblood of Main Street.”
