Job Creators Network Supports Ranking Member Luetkemeyer’s ENTRÉE Act

Washington, D.C. (July 21, 2021)- Yesterday, Ranking Member Luetkemeyer introduced H.R. 4568, Entrepreneurs Need Timely Replenishment for Eating Establishments (ENTRÉE) Act.

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“The Job Creators Network supports Ranking Member Luetkemeyer’s ENTRÉE Act, as it provides much-needed aid to struggling restaurant owners and is a good use of the unspent funds from American Rescue Plan. Restaurants were hit especially hard from the pandemic with its draconian lockdowns and restrictions, and many of them are still unable to fully recover due to the current government-induced labor shortage. JCN’s own Monthly Monitor poll from June showed only 8 percent of small businesses say they’ve already recovered from economic effects of the pandemic, with 42 percent saying it’s going to take at least another 6 months. The aid from the ENTRÉE Act will not go unnoticed, it provides $60 billion to the Restaurant Revitalization Fund that President Biden had failed to renew, which left 177,000 restaurants and bars in need.”
