“Unemployment insurance is a major cost for American small businesses, and Job Creators Network and the small business community support H.R. 1156 to extend the statute of limitations on pandemic-era unemployment insurance fraud. Technicalities like statutes of limitations shouldn’t stand in the way of efforts to uncover and rectify widespread unemployment insurance fraud, of which small businesses were one of the biggest victims.”
