Job Creators Network Supports Legislation to Expand 529 Savings Plan Eligibility to K-12

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in support of H.R. 8915 – The Education and Workforce Freedom Act, which expands 529 saving plan distributions to K-12 education:

“The Education and Workforce Freedom Act would make it easier for American families to leave their failing district schools for a quality education alternative. Universal education freedom accounts offer all students the opportunity to get the good education they deserve and need to succeed in today’s economy. Expanding tax-exempt 529 distributions to K-12 families will provide additional financial resources to increase access to the best education options available. Legislators should work quickly to pass this bill for American students and families.”
