Job Creators Network Supports House Efforts to Deregulate Post Chevron Reversal

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement supporting House Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s efforts to hold federal agencies accountable for recent regulations following the Supreme Court’s recent decision overruling the Chevron doctrine: 

“House Republicans are standing up for ordinary Americans and small businesses by demanding Biden Administration federal agencies deregulate following the Supreme Court’s recent decision overruling the Chevron doctrine. Biden’s bureaucrats have waged a regulatory onslaught, implementing a historic number of rules that hit small businesses hard. Their countless labor and climate rules, such as the unworkable electric vehicle mandate, significantly raise costs on job creators who are already contending with a weak economy and high prices. But the Supreme Court has massively curtailed their power. Republicans are right to hold them accountable to the new standard and demand deregulation.”
