Job Creators Network Supports Appropriation Bill Markups to Cut Reckless Spending

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement on the House Republicans’ markups of 2024 appropriation bills:

“America urgently needs to get its fiscal house in order and cut reckless spending. Eliminating wasteful, unnecessary, and activist spending, as House Republicans call for in 2024 appropriations bills, is a necessary first step. Funding for United Nations bureaucrats, who provide no value for ordinary Americans, and other similar internationalist schemes should be cut and put toward deficit reduction as House Republicans demand. Prohibiting funding for green initiatives that work to reduce Americans’ standards of living is also important. Cutting this wasteful spending, as JCN’s American Small Business Prosperity Plan calls for, is an important step to reducing the deficit and, eventually, balancing the budget.”
