Job Creators Network Statement on July Consumer Price Index

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement in response to the July CPI, which rose by 0.1%, and Core CPI, which rose by 0.2%:

“Another month of very low inflation confirms that recent price pressures were truly transitory. That’s a stark contrast to the persistent Bidenflation of years past, the hangover from which is responsible for the affordability crisis facing many Americans today. Despite periodic flare-ups, the winding down of the Iran War should further reduce inflation in the months ahead, giving families and small businesses meaningful relief. Paired with other Trump administration policies to improve affordability, such as tax cuts, stable prices will boost consumer and small business confidence and the economy as a whole.

“Moreover, this low inflation should take potential Federal Reserve interest rate hikes fully off the table and allow room for interest rate cuts in the near term. Expanded access to credit, low inflation, and tax cuts will allow small businesses to drive meaningful economic, job, and wage growth for years to come.”
