Job Creators Network Slams Schumer’s $3.5 Trillion Spending Framework
Washington, DC (July 14, 2021) — On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer announced a $3.5 trillion spending framework. It would fund a budget reconciliation package so Democrats can sidestep the need for Republican support and shield the funds from a filibuster.
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:
“Under President Biden, our tax dollars have magically turned into Monopoly money. The Senate Democrats’ $3.5 trillion spending bill is not a welfare package, it’s Bernie Sanders’ socialist agenda. The impact of the Democrats’ spending spree is growing and devastating. On Tuesday, the Labor Department announced that the consumer price index increased 5.4 percent from a year ago, the highest 12-month rate since August 2008. The genie of the inflation was being released slowly and now it’s being released rapidly. Biden is more determined than ever to be Jimmy Carter 2.0.”
Alfredo Ortiz and economist Stephen Moore recently published an op-ed in the Chicago Tribune arguing that high inflation should spike Biden’s big spending plans. Read it HERE.
